my doctor flat out told me, "if walking helped.. I'd tell everyone to do it, but I don't.. because it doesn't." lol!
nothing helps.. it's all about the baby & the hormones that have to be released that say.. "okay, it's time." nothing will speed that up.
I would say that walking helped me with labor.. I worked up until I was 39 weeks, delivered at 39w3d, and he came quick.. I think the constant pressure on my pelvis/hip area helped A LOT.
just be patient.. trust me, I KNOW how hard that is, but the reward is AMAZING!!!! good luck, and congrats!! ((:
