2 weeks to go!

I have two weeks to go and I want to have a glass of wine. I'm wondering will it be okay!

So jealous.... :)  I can tell you that once you hit the third trimester a glass of wine a week is just fine. My doctor highly recommended it for me to help me relax as my BP was so high.  So heck yes I took him up on that.  LOL

With this pregnancy I am 21 weeks so I have a ways to go but let me tell you I will def have a glass when I can. :)

Well I drank the wine! It was relaxing, however the top of my belly feels a little  crampy this morning...Not sure if it came from the wine, but hopefully everything is A-ok! Anyone else had this effect after drinking wine?

You can get away with one alcoholic beverage a week while pregnant.
Something with LOW alcohol levels in it like a beer, or wine, or a wine cooler or something in that manor.
Some docs say you can't drink at all, some say you can get away with one a week.
I've had 2 smirnoff's this pregnancy and everything is a-okay so far!
And I had a twisted tea, a smirnoff and a glass of white wine in the duration of my last pregnancy and my daughter came out just fine!

Just don't do anymore than one a week and you should be fine!

Awww! Thank you! I didn't even look at it that way (special occasion)! LOL! I'm soo happy to be so close to my due date! I've been very very nervous lately, thinking that something may go wrong, maybe the glass of wine will relax me! I can't wait until he gets here so I won't worry so much.....

I wouldn't feel bad if you just had 1 glass of wine. I know that my Dr. has always told me that a glass of wine (or even 1 beer) is okay as long as its only every now and then... like for a special occasion... birthday, anniversary, celebrating 38 weeks! LOL!
I had a glass of champagne on New Years Eve exactly 1 weeks before ds was born, and he is perfectly fine.
Congrats on 38 weeks by the way... you'll be holding that little one in your arms any day now!

Thanks ladies! Tomorrow I will be 38weeks and my Hubby just came home with some White Merlot! I have never even heard of that, but I would love a glass since I haven't had any in so long. I'm just afraid and I kinda feel bad!

Some doctors will tell you one, either a week or month, is ok. Some will say no. I know a lot of women who have drank a glass once in a while, and I did it too. I think it's red wine that's the ok one, but I drank riesling.

id say one glass of wine would be just fine....if your super parinoid about it though just ring a nurse for piece of mind although im sure one glass of wine is just fine...just dont go overboard! have a nice night! : )
