32 weeks-need advice

To make a long story shorter, for the past few weeks I have had pain in my inner thighs..it was coming and going, however has become more consistent so I mentioned it to my doctor yesterday at my checkup. He told me to use a heating pad and some pillows, which I did last night and most of today. However, I think the heat is making it worse (? ) It's to the point now to where I can barely walk or stand up! Just wondering if anyone has experienced this and whAt they have done for it, since my doctor hasn't been much help. Anyone have any idea what is causing this?? Doctor did say that baby is head down.

I agree, try cold instead of heat..it might make it feel better if the hot is making it worse. Have you ever seen the "bean bag" type cooling pads? If so I'd try one of those, it's just bigger beads inside a cloth bag and you refrigerate it/freeze it, it feels SO good for pain!

I'm no doctor (obviously) but maybe try a cold compress instead of heat? I think that's something I would try, not sure if it makes sense tho. Sorry you're in pain ! I hope you feel better soon.

I had that pain since I was 28 weeks! I am now at 34weeks2days but I'm measuring almost 37weeks. there is nothing really you can do but try to bare with it. some days its not too bad but others I can barley move. I tried sleeping with pillows and a heating pad...the only thing that helps me is taking a warm to hot bath. and my babys head is already engaged as well. hopefully you find some relief!
