Im not "of color" per say but i am American Indian and white but i have darker skin and i have the line in my belly..it showed up when i was 15 weeks..i never had it before. And I'm always hungry so idk:)
I have the dark line but i dont remember it being there before. & my stomach only makes noise when im hungry and if im gassy...
Thank you ladies much appreciated as i have never noticed this line before but I have the line my eldest saw the bottom line and when i showed her again she said she couldn't be sure if the bottom line had gone darker and wider but there was a visible line up my abdomen however whilst I have movement and have had symptoms I have negative tests and being told I couldn't possibly be...as I apparently don't have enough symptoms (even though I have had loads very mild not like any of my previous pregnancies).
And also apparently its rare to have no hcg and get periods even though a doctor has admitted my so called periods are far from normal...
I have a scan tomorrow so I am nervous as I look pregnant hard stomach feeling movement and researched every possible thing it could be but the linea nigra appears to be a very obvious sign that is right there to see so if any one has noticed they have had there's even while not pregnant feel free to in put...
Ok so i am a "woman of color" lol (im black, but light caramel complection) and my line started to show round 16 weeks. I am almost 18 weeks. I have noticed it on the bottom under my belly button before i got pregnant but it was realli realli light to where its very unnoticeable, but i noticed it.
Thank you, to be honest I never noticed mine...given myself enough imaginary tummy tucks i'm sure I would have noticed it and never concentrated on when I first saw it as all the test said I wasn't so I never paid any attention I just went with the results of the home tests until the niggles started and then when the niggles got stronger and I thought I was loosing my mind I went to a dr who made me feel like I shouldn't have bothered.
I am trying now to take pictures and compare changes and realise strangely due to the lack of love for the camera...i have not one single pregnancy picture of any of my pregnancies so nothing to compare it with
I am white but I never noticed my line under my belly button until about 18 weeks, and now i have a pretty prominent line above my belly button as well. Im 26+3 weeks with twins.
I'm black. And I'v had the line since 13 weeks.
Im wexican(white and mexican) fifteen weeks no line:/ I usually dont get mine til around 25 weeks.
Im black and white and this is my 2nd I had the line since my first pregnancy but it does fade a little after you give birth. Im 21+1 & its really dark now tho
Well I'm white as could be, but I tan really easily and keep my tan really easily (not sure if that matters or not but who knows)! I could see a very faint line under my belly button if I really looked before pregnancy. Now I can really see it, and it goes above my belly button in somewhat of a crooked line, it's so weird! Haha, 36+3 by the way
the like hungry but not hungry noises is your baby moving im full to the max I hear it I asked my mom she said its the baby ill ask my doctor next appointment :)
Its actually there always but gets darker in pregnancy ... Thts y u can notice it now not before ..., in old times this line ws used to tell if ur having a boy or girl. If the line is straight than its a boy if it's not than its a girl. I am 24 weeks and this line is straight on my stomach and I am having a boy. So I think it's kind of true.. But don't worry line ws always there jst in a lighter color
I'm white, but have a dark olive skin tone. With my first the line was very dark and went down the length of my abdomen, but disappeared about two weeks after birth. Never got it with my second, and now I'm 12 weeks with #3 and am just starting to develop a faint line. My tummy is always making noise, your digestive system slows down during pregnancy and can make your stomach a bit more talkative.
well I will find out tomorrow what's going on... as for the noises i've found if I take a bath I get more movement...and whilst in the bath there was these noises like I was related to starving marvin I've asked a few of my friends one of which has just had a baby....and she said hers made the noises too, guess I'm just nervous to find out the truth about what's going on and I cant go off memories as my last child was 7 yrs ago and to be honest I wasn't that happy in my pregnancy since I split up with the dad 5mths pregnant and can only remember everything from the birth onwards so who better to ask than pregnant women currently experiencing what I've been told I'm not.
