AF 2 days late, negative HPT

I am 2 days late for my af, and took a hpt this morning, BFN!  I also have been charting my temp, and this morning it was 98.49. It has actually gone up. Yesterday was 98.35. I really have no symptoms, just a little abdominal cramping, very little though. Does your BBt rise then fall if you are expecting your period?  Or should it start to decline? I normally get my period on time or a day or two earlier.  It may be that my body is still out of whack from my miscarriage on 9/29. But the thing is, since then, my period came 4 weeks after my miscarriage, and then again 26 days later. I was due for my af this past sunday the 23rd. Has anyone experienced something similar and maybe got their period while temp is up, or has anyone turned out pregnant?

not sure . . . i would keep testing every two to three days that you don't get it.

Hi, I'm all new to this!  My questions are: I'm irregular and I have never had two period in one month in like 10 yrs, last month that happen.  The issue is that I had all the pregnancy symptoms and then got my period three weeks early, it was bright red for 3 days (normal is 4-6 days) Q1 Did I have a miscarriage? Q2 I'm having the same symptoms, not as intense as the first time, and now I'm teo days late with a BFN, am I pregnant?

i will be SHOCKED if you don't find out you are pregnant!  all of the books that i have read, i have never heard high temps at 15+ dpo not turning pregnant.  keep me posted :-)

Thanks for your confidence. I hope you are right. I would love to wake up to a BFP on christmas day, but i feel that is too soon. Hopefully new years eve.  That would be awesome. Do you think its normal not to have any symptoms?  I have NONE.  Which kind of discourages me. With my last pregnancy, i extremely painful cramping, and when i realized that my af wasnt coming i new i was pg. But this time is WAY different.

girl, i am no doc, but i would say that your chances are excellent!  maybe next week call doc?  as long as you are certain about your ovul date, it sounds very very promising!  i have known a handful of ladies that didn't get positive hpts, actually going to doc finding out that they were 8 and 10 weeks preg!  good luck to you!!!!  please keep me posted :-)

Thanks krissyy. I appreciate that. Its actually 15 days past O. I actually started temping 3 days past O, and it has been rising I started 97.79 on 3dpo, and now its 98.49.  It fluctuated since, but has never done below 97.79.  I am just surprised that the hpt is still negative. I hope this is good news. Like i said, i feel like i am getting slight cramping. And i usually dont get any cramping until i get my period. Hmmm, i just dont want to get my hopes up. With a negative test, and late period, leaves me little hope.

sounds really promising to me.  not sure what your temps are normally like, but that sounds pretty high!  how many days since ovulation?  16-18 high temps is an awesome sign!  wait a couple of days and test again!  my temps always start to drop a day or two before af.  good luck girl!  ihope you get your christmas wish!

I actually started temping late this month.  I do believe I ovulated on time this month though. My last af was 11/27.  I usually get my af about 11-14 days post ovulation. Its always on time or even a day or two earlier. Does your temp usually rise then fall before your af?  It weird, i feel very little cramping, but nothing yet. I think my body is playing tricks on me.  I just want to be PG so bad, and all these neg tests dont help. I hate the waiting game.

You said you've been temping right? Did you ovulate on time?
I O'd late this month, and if I hadn't known that, I would have thought my AF was late. But my temps did drop this month and AF came, so maybe you still have a chance!!!

Lets see what happens tomorrow. If i do not get my af, and still have a neg test, then i will be really confused. I always get my af on time. In a way, i feel like it will be coming. I have very light cramping on and off. I dunno. I did m/c on 9/29. Maybe my body is still out of whack. But my two other periods after my m/c came right on time. Strange.

You will probably just have to wait and see.  It's so hard not to take the tests but you should really wait.  Wait until tomorrow and take it on Christmas morning.  If it has been 2 weeks past ovulation then you are probably not pregnant.  BUT everyone is different...
