Acne breakouts before labor?

I'm 37 weeks with my first and have had crampy Braxton Hick's for the past week and the last 3 days I've gotten a terrible breakout on and under my chin.  I was wondering if it could be a sign that labor is near?  My doctor said that women get a surge of hormones at the end of pregnancy and I thought this could be related.  Have any of you experienced this or are experiencing it now?

This post is old now but I thought I'd answer my own question in case anyone else with the same  symptoms is wondering.  Exactly one week after posting this question I went into labor.  Another odd symptom that went along with this time frame was excessive ear wax production.  About the same time the acne happened my ears got really gross and I had to clean them every day.  May be TMI, but I thought maybe someone would appreciate my answer!
