Am I pregnant or is this another problem?

I'm a fairly healthy 18 yr old who has been on ortho-lo for almost a year. My next period is about a week away. For the past 3 weeks I've been on Zoloft and 2 weeks ago I was on Amoxicillin for a few days. During this time I have been having sex without a condom, although, the "pull out" method was used. About 4 days ago I had pain during urination and frequent urination. I initially thought I had a UTI until the pain stopped the next day. In the middle of all of this I also began to bleed irregulary. I had a brownish discharge like bleeding that went pinkish. The bleeding is enough for a panty liner at times and not enough to notice until I wipe at other times. I've also been having backpain, nausea, cramps, and extreme bloating or abdominal swelling.

Could I be pregnant or could this be something else?

Thanks.

You could be pregnant, so you need to stop taking the BC until you know for sure. Don't take any meds without knowing if they are safe for women who are/may be pregnant.

You can take a pregnancy test when you expect your next period! If you need assistance or a free test, check out www.birthright.org and see if there is one in your area (I'm a volunteer at my local one). We give free preg. tests and everything is confidential.
