Am I pregnant? whats going on?? real answers please.

well the last time i had a "normal" period was the end of july. its now september 28th and i dont know what goin on?? ive been on birth control for 11 months, even though i never took it like i was supposed to. i would have days where i skipped and took it the next morning. despite that fact, while i was on it my periods were always regular. for the month of august, i spotted a week before my expected period which was light. it stopped and then i had really dark, thick discharge that was almost black (sorry, tmi) this black discharge lasted about 3 days. then i got my period a day late and it only lasted a day and abruptly stopped. i thought it was implantation/decidual bleeding so i stopped my pills at the end of the pack. even though all the tests showed negtive, i havent started my pills back up. its been 5 weeks since the last time i had any bleeding what so ever. so ive basically been having unprotected sex everyday. i still havent showed any signs of getting my period. the only thing is that my breasts have felt heavier the past week. they dont hurt but they feel heavy. and my nipples stick out more often and theres white spots on my nipples (not my areolas, my nipples), and ive urinated alot today. i havent felt very motivated and i feel uncomfortable in my own skin. im just wondering if it means i could be pregnant??? (sorry that was so long, its a complicated story) im just worried because my last period was really unusual and i havent gotten my period at all for september. HELPP!!

Are you prepared for a baby? It's a bit worrisome when I hear women say 'we're not trying, but if it happens, it happens'. A baby is a major life change and you need to be ready to have a baby with having a lot of money saved up in the bank, a stable well paying job/career, a very long term relationship or married, insurance, a good place to live, etc etc. Even planned babies in relationships can cause a huge amount of stress and many relationships don't make it. There is a lot to think about before bringing a baby into the world.

It is better to figure out sooner rather than later if you are pregnant, because you need to start getting prenatal care(prenatal vitamins, regular check ups, etc) asap if you are pregnant. If you won't be able to test tomorrow morning, go to the store tomorrow, buy a test, and test the following morning.

thanks. i wont be able to do one in the morning as i live in a small town and its a 30 mile drive to walmart. not worth it until i need to go next week for groceries. and also, i was on birth control to ease my period pains. were not /trying/ to get pregnant, if it happens it happens. i just cant take the anxiety. ive gone 5 weeks with no bleeding, which never happens. even before i started the pill a year ago. i dont feel like im about to start anytime soon. i havent felt any symptoms except heavy boobs and spots on my nipples, but i read that the degree of your symptoms can be passed down from your mother, and since my mom had very few symptoms with both me and my sister, im sort of expecting not to have many either

Any time you have sex, especially unprotected sex, you can get pregnant as you can ovulate a lot sooner or later than expected. If you do not want to get pregnant, there is no safe time to have unprotected sex. Since you have not had a period for a while, take another home pregnancy test tomorrow morning with first morning urine. Are you trying to get pregnant?
