As some of the others have said, the test COULD have been negative becuase it was too early for you to have enough HCG in your system at the time. Wait and see what next weeks test says.
Coming off of hormonal birth control can wreak havoc on your body and your cycle. Even though you had a couple of months of regular periods, your body still had plenty of the synthetic hormones in your system to keep you regulated. Once those hormones begin to wear off your body goes wacky trying to regulate the hormone production for your cycles. It's not unusual to experience out of the ordinary or exacerbated symptoms for several months after coming off of hormonal B.C. Good luck and let us know what the test next week reveals.
If the blood test comes back negative in a week than you were not pregnant. If the urine test comes back negative it may still be too early.
No one can answer that unfortunately people experience no period, period pain, messed up cycle etc for differant reasons apart from pregnancy
Painful cramps do not mean miscarriage. Cramping is a normal early pregnancy symptom. It can be intense but never painful.
You can take a pregnancy test when your period is due. They most likely did the test at the hospital just to be sure since ovulation can differ for everyone and if you ovulated early then you could've gotten an early positive result.
Ok so I'll do another one in a week but, just wondering, what if it comes back negative???
Why am I experiencing these symptoms and so much pain??? I've been off the pill before when my ex and I broke up and NEVER had even one of these signs x
Early pregnancy does not always appear on a test until a certain time that would have been why You were asked to take another one in another week because it was negative which would have meant if you had a chance of being it was too early to tell and also because of the symptoms and pain you have mentioned it would have been a precaution for them to do a pregnancy test to rule it.
If it was a blood test it would be unusual for you to be pregnant and for it not to show as a blood test will pick up a pregnancy of 7 days and if you were still not 7 days you shouldn't be experiencing any signs.
I would say still it is pretty early to be experiencing any strong signs this early in a pregnancy. You have not been off the pill long it may have just messed up your cycle
