Anger and pregnancy?

I am 7 weeks pregnant and just lately I have been feeling like I cannot control my anger. I got mad at my boyfriend last night because I needed help with something and the first thing he did was go out to the bar with some friends. I started flipping out on him and so he said he was going to come and help me then leave again to go hang with his friends because I was pissed off. I then found out he lied to me saying he was just going to his friends when they were really going out drinking at bars. I then lost my temper and started throwing everything in site and smashing things. I punched a hole through the door and started smacking him and punched him in the face. I feel so horrible about it and I have never ever ever done anything like that in my life. I can't control myself. Has anyone else experienced this during pregnancy? I know it is not healthly for the baby and I need answers. Is this normal

Same here. One day my boyfriend wanted a cup of soda & I threw it at him & told him I'm not his servant. Lol he started talking smack & I put the radio up so I won't hear anything he was saying. Then I cried cuz he hurt my feelings. Its very normal just gotta learn how to control the mood swings.

I've had it out a few times with my ex...for some reason they're good at pushing our buttons in pregnancy, and all our hormones definitely don't help...but the fact that you hit him concerns me. Honestly if that were me and I lost control like that and resorted to violence, I'd probably go find the nearest counselor. I know it's probably not how you are normally, but you've got to consider what you might think and feel if (no matter what reason) he hit you in the middle of an argument.

I was short tempered for a while there, but now I get easily annoyed. Stressing that much is not good for you and it is especially not good for the baby. I know it'll be very hard to do, but I always write down whenever my fiance ticked me off and I'd leave the notes in obvious places so he would find them and then he realized he was making me mad and he would apologize. It didn't work everytime, but most of the time it did. try to stay calm for you and the baby. If you get annoyed try going for a walk to clear your head and if you ever need to vent you can PM me on here if you need to.
