I had an ectopic back in 2005 where my right tube rupsured and had to have surgury. I have no idea what you hcg levels should be at but I'd be worried because you said
"At the ER on Sunday night they did and u/s and the tech thinks he saw something in my tube again and nothing in the utures he said it looked like I was about to have my period."
When I got pregnant this time I thought I was having another ectopic too but the doctors did see the baby in my uterus at 4 weeks.
The doctor doesn't see your baby in your uterus? Is that what your saying?
Anyway keep in contact with the doctor and keep us posted too.
Good luck to you and hopefully it isn't an ectopic because we both know the pain it causes.
I first want to say I wish you the best . They thought that i maybe have a ectopic pregnancy and i got a u/s last friday. (6wks and 3days) and everything was fine. The reason they thought that was b/c my hcg levels are low . I agree with cminamyer I would have them check your levels as well. GOODLUCK !
Yes, it is too early to see anything. I had an ectopic in May of 2007 and am now 9.5 weeks preg with a normal pregnancy. The doctor monitored my levels in the beginning to be sure they were doubling. I had my first ultrasound at 6.5 weeks and we saw the sac, fetal pole and heartbeat. I would definitely have your doctor monitor your levels to be sure they are rising. I wouldn't worry yet though!
Yes, that would be too early to see anything on an u/s. I have read that your HCG levels have to be AT LEAST 1200 before you can see anything via u/s. So, I wouldn't worry about that part. I trust actual OB/GYN doctors much more than ER doctors. I don't like ERs if I can help going to them. It just feels like you're just another number to me.
I've heard of women seeing baby's on u/s as early as 6 weeks and then heard of some women not seeing anything until like 8 weeks so try not to worry, though I know that is much easier said than done.
Please take care and I will be praying for you!
I am hoping and praying for you! I know the drs are busy but I can't help but worry and want answers very badly. Good luck on your test friday.
I went through the same thing. I lost my left tube over a year ago. I had staples from hip to hip. Then I got a 2 infections celluliteus an a whom infection. I had 107 temp for a straight week. I almost died. I had 2 months of physical therapy. ( My stomach was left open to heal... the staples were removed. ) I just found out that I'm pregnant. I'm going to pray for you. Please do the same for me. I lost twins before I was pregnant in my tube. I go to the dr Friday... wish me luck! Demand they do every test possible. An don't be afraid to get a second opinion. Because if it is caught in time they can save your tube. Thanks. Anita.
Even when I had the other ectopic the ruptured I didn't have any shoulder pain. I was bleeding internaly for 2 days before I went to the doctor, I had no idea that I was pregnant I didn't feel like I was and I had taken a early test that was neg. Then I got a light period so I didn't think I was. This time the early tests were pos and I feel pregnant. I'm tired and have to pee all the time.
It might also be too soon to tell like you said. Another sign I was told about is your right shoulder hurting. I hope that everything ends up normal and I just want to let you know that your in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs :o)
Thanks, that's what I am hoping I just hope the dr hurry's up and calls me back.
its not over yet. soo try to stay positive it doenst sound like an ectopic your numbers seem to be going up sounds good your in my thoughts and prayers :)
I didn't mean to post it twice on the same fourm I'm new to this site and I thought one was for medical professionals and the other was for support. I have seen an OB but she didn't give me the test results today her nurse didn't and couldn't tell me anymore than what the level was not what it meant so I wanted to see if anyone could help me out. I don't feel like it's another ectiopic but who knows. I'm trying to wait for her call but it's driving me crazy.
I don't know from first hand experiece, but I saw you posted twice and wanted to at least jump in a share my support. I have heard that you get flu-like symptoms too that get progressively worse. I would also see an OB GYN DR in addition to the ER - and someone who knows your history if possible. All I know is what I have read online, but my thoughts and very best wishes are with you.
