Answer brand pregnancy test

I just took an at home pregnancy test by Answer and I think I'm "kinda" pregnant? 2 lines means you're pregnant and 1 means that you're not. I have 2 lines, but the testing line is faint, but visable, I'm very confused. Has this happened to anyone before? I know that I will need to go out and buy another test, but just curious.

Thank you,  thank you, thank you! It seems too good to be true. I guess we got really lucky on the first try! I just set up our first appt. for the 16th to get our little one of a healthy start! I'm still in shock, I'm going to take another test either tomorrow or the next day. Thank you ladies for all of your help/support!

I retested today and same thing! So, I guess I'm pregnant! =]

I had one of those, for some reason it made me depressed to see the 'Not pregnant". No love for me at all :0(
i rather go with the lines, they are more friendly!:-)

Did you retest?  I like the tests that say "pregnant" or "not pregnant" - takes the guess work out of whether or not you are really seeing a line.

Well the pink ones don't usually have the evaporation lines so I am feeling REALLY positive for you! And it is DEFINITELY possibly to dilute the HCG if you don't wait long enough between potty breaks when you test. I did that this pregnancy and got a negative urine test at the doctor's office. SCARED ME to pieces! But everything is just fine.

I used Answer and was very happy with it. Mine had pink lines... It says right on the instructions that even a faint line if read w/in the 10 min time frame is a positive. :)

Well these are pink lines...or purple...whatever. =] I think my big mistake was testing so late in the day. I already pee like every 10 minutes and I drink water like crazy, so maybe it was so light because of the amount of water I drank today. I'm going to go pick up another test tonight and test first thing in the morning, so hopefully it will show better then.


When you take a test, you expect a simple yes or no, not a kinda...lol.

P.S. I've had faint lines before and been pregnant! Don't lose hope and definitely re-test.

Faint lines could be evaporation lines. Blue-dye tests are notorious for these and the grey, evap lines that appear can be confusing.

I'd buy First Response (pink-dye one!) and retest again.

But if there is a true second line, and it is faint, then you are pregnant! Being faint simply means that the levels of HCG are low. As they increase the lines on your tests would get darker.
