OK today I looked up the size and converted what it should be in inches. My baby is measuring 4.6 inches long from crown to rump. Yet development wise the baby is right on target and has grown right on target but a bit faster. Has anyone known this too happen before? I looked at sizes of babies at 8 weeks and it says .61cm which is 1.6 inches long and the size my baby is for a 16 week baby that is twice it's age! I just do not understand and had the ultrasound tech write the size on my picture and she pointed and said "here is the size crown to rump toady" So I know I am not getting it wrong. What do you all think???
I really don't think there's any way for a baby at that point to be that long. .61 centimeters isn't even a whole inch, though. It's .24 inches. :/ So something may be a little off in your calculation or measurement?
I would hope so! ITs says on the us picture I have uploaded the size of the baby. Of course it says 8 weeks 4 days cuz they would not change my due date again. I converted the measurments with an online tool:) Guess that was wrong but the us picture says 11.7cm. I just hope that the tech was measuring somthing else and real fast put that not relizing she did not put the crown to rump length. But she "pointed to it and said it cuz I specifically asked for it. I ahve gottten it every time. I do know that my uterus is right above my belly button though. The dr was able to measure and palpate my stomach. This next three weeks will be more torture then the last two till I get a new us.
