Baby movements

Hi girls, for those of you who felt the movements...it was so weird for me, after I felt the first kick, for 2-3 days, I felt flutters pretty consistent, but for the last 2 days, I barely feel 1-2 flutter a day......is that normal? Does it come and go? Im concerned.

Wow, Suzie, you can feel her head? How interesting! I don't think I m there yet!
I know he likes to be on my left side because when I lay down, I can see my left side sticks out so much more ...but again, don't feel much movement anymore for the last few days so I just hope that he will be more active so I can feel him more, it is so reassuring and awesome!

my dr. even told me not to worry if I go a couple days without feeling activity.  It all depends on where the little one has settled in.  My little girl is very close to the front and likes to be active.  I do have times where I can tell she is settled towards the back becasue my belly is much softer and I can't feel her head.

Yes, I didn't feel kicks with TJ til 25w, and not regularly til about 30 weeks or so. My dr. said to eat a meal then lay down for an hour, if you feel 5 kicks... your fine. Also he said that you should only do this if your feeling regular kicks every day.

The patterns I'm talking about are just when she's active, and when she's not. My pattern for my little one is 2-3 days non stop then just 4-5 times a day for 1-2 days.

She's probably moving a lot more than you feel too, and she's just in a spot that you can't feel her all the time, or they're just not powerful enough. I felt movements at 18 weeks, then at 21 it was a constant thing. It's so exciting and relieving to feel them!

Thank you girls!! I guess I am eager to feel those kicks more often :)
I noticed that when I lay down on my back after the meal, he moves aroud but again, nothing much for the last 2 days....I eat and lay down and one or two pokes , that's it :(
I will wait another week, hopefully, it will be more consistant!

Ive had flutters since wk 14 or more and they still arent consistent. Even had big kicks, but nothing consistent. I wouldnt worry. It will take some time before things become consistent

when i first started to feel the baby it was off and on, i think b/c they are still so small and they have lots of room it can be harder sometimes to feel. now that i am farther along i feel her alot more and i do notice when she is awake and sleeping, surprisely it does appear to be at the same times of the day. I would not worry about it to much, take a moment after you eat and see if you feel anything ,i notice my baby moves alot more after i eat.

anya- moving patterns would be for an example i notice my baby moves alot in the morning after i eat breakfast. then she is sleeping for alot of the day ( so i dont feel movement) then after dinner she goes crazy again. they say they do have sleep patterns in the womb and normally they will sleep at the same times of the day.

I am 18 weeks. I don't think the baby has any patterns yet...what do u mean by patterns? I know he/she lies on my left side mainly and also he/she very low still, is that normal? I felt him poking right above my pubic bone..but he barely poke in the last 2-3 days...:(
I have a doppler, so I listen to the heart but I wish I could feel him more@!

I've notices that my little girl move around like crazy for 2-3 days then take a small break for 1-2 days then get right back in it. If you are wooried call your doc, but also learn the patterns of your baby, and if it's out of the normal pattern then call.

I know that you are just starting to feel him/her move so a pattern maybe hard to detect just yet. How far along are you?
