It was miserable, every time a contraction hit it would start in my back, which felt like it was being squeezed, and wrapped around to my front. It got worse too it just felt constricted, like my back would spasm and then it was almost as if I couldn't move. They had a hard time putting the epidural in because every time a contraction would hit my muscles would tighten in my back and the anesthesiologist would lose his footing. Even 3 1/2 months later I still have bad residual back pain. It was really painful the first month or so after, even bending to change my daughter and then standing back up was agony. A chiropractor helped though, and obviously this isn't a problem for every woman. I just personally had a terrible experience. Good luck!
For me it was constant dull, but sharp pain in my lower back with intense side pain as my contractions. It never wrapped around to the front like they say it does. It's different for everyone, but if you have back labor, you'll know.
A little out there but I had back labor with my 2 girls and it feels like you have to go "#2"
Really bad. Mixed with so much pressure on my hips. Almost like someone was squeezing / crushing them together.
I too have been experiencing a lot of pressure and pain in my lower back. Last time I was driving and I even had to put over to get out of the car and try to walk it off for a few minutes. It was so scary and super painful. I'm just hoping I don't get that kind of pain during actual labor.
I had it with my daughter and it sucked felt like a lot of pressure in my back kinda like my back was broke honestly I feel that way with this pregnancy hopefully I don't have back labor
My mom had back labor with me and now at 42 she had spine surgery and her dr said the fact she had back labor didnt help at all, not to freak u out, im just scared im gonna have it because back problems alreadh run in r family
Painful!!!! It's not just limited to your front like regular contractions but takes over your whole abdomen front, back everywhere even feels like your ribs are being ripped apart!!! I had it with my first and assumed it was just labor because it was excruciating and labor hurts then I had regular labor and didn't think I was in labor because it didn't hurt enough lol
