Belly measuring small (nervous)

Hey girls im 32 weeks pregs and i had a check up tonight. The dr measured my stomach with a measuring tape and didnt say anything...so i asked him am i measuring ok? and hes said a little smaller than average...im not sure if this is normal and if he would have even mentioned it if i hadnt asked. im trying not to get nervous and i have a sonogram in 2 weeks. Did anyone else have this issue? Does anyone know how accurate the measuring tape is?

Thank you

No measuring ahead isn't dangerous!  Alaysha is right, it's just your baby developing at their own speed!  More than likely by the time you go into labor, you be right around where your suppose to, and your baby will likely surprise you by it's weight!

Nope not at all it could be that your baby is a little big or a little small. When I was pregnant one week I would be 2 weeks behind then the next month I'd be a week a head. Babies develop at their own rate and the fact that your doctor didn't seem very concerned is a good sign.

Did he say what it was measuring to?  Like a week behind?  I wouldn't worry to much about it.  When I was pregnant with my first, I was measuring ahead 2 weeks, of course they gave me a due date by u/s....so obviously the u.s wasn't accurate.

If it's within a week either way, it's fine.
