BCP are known for causing irregular bleeding and lots of women have their due changed b/c of u/s. If you Dr. didn't say you lost a twin then I would believe it was r/t to the BCP. stop worrying. best wishes for a healthy baby.
Thing was with all that bleeding I never went to the doctor...I had no pain so I figured it was my birth control pills. But when I did find out about a month later I was pregnant and I went to the doctor there was no baby and my hgc were low..I went back in a weeks and there was a small tiny sac with my dot of a baby in it. So if it was a twin then when i went to the doctor the baby i have now would have shown up bigger right? like should that i was further along?

I took a test 1 wk after my missed period and it came back possitive so workin from my period dates i was 5 wks gone then at 6 wks i stood up and the blood flew from me over the top of my pants and everything so i went 2 the toilet and when i sat down i heard something plop down the toilet i looked though i could'nt c as there was 2 mich blood but i never had any pain then i wiped myself and i noticed this blood clot6 about 1 inch in size and it was the shape of it that i noticed it was fetal shaped i called the hospital and they booked appointment for ultra sound i was devistated going for as i new that was a baby that i lost but there on the screen was my other baby with her heart beatin like crazy. i carried on bleeding for another 2 months but the scan showed i was further along my pregnancy. hope this is some help 2 u
The bleeding was probably from your bc pills. Don't beat yourself up over something that you would have ABSOLUTELY NO CONTROL OVER! Lots of things can cause your yolk sac to be a little bigger. The important thing is that you have a healthy baby growing and thriving. If something did happen, and it turns out that you actually did lose a baby, there is nothing that anyone (you or your doc) could have done. Your body knows how much you can handle. There could have been something genetically wrong with the other baby and that's what causes the majority of miscarriages. I am sorry for what you are feeling... I've had two miscarriages myself and the pain is unbearable but it gets better with time. I hope you feel better! Good luck with your baby!
