Brown Spotting but no pregnancy symptoms

Hello All,
I am new to the site. I had some browm spotting a week ago (very light not enough for a pad or tampons) then it stopped. The next day I spotted light red then nothing and nothing since then.  I dont have any pregnancy symptoms. I had two miscarriage in the past.  The first was very painful.  There was alot of blood.  The second I had no pain.  At the ultasounded the dr told me the baby had stop going and I needed a D&C. That was three years ago. In each one of those situations I had no period at all.  No spotting either.  Actually this is the forst time I spotted in my life.  Could I be pregnant.  I dont want to get my fiance' hopes up only to disappoint him.  Please adivse.

Since your already missed you period for September, I would definitely test.

Thank my last period was August 22,2009

Mid cycle spotting is common,only way to know for sure is to test.if your late then you can test,but if not then wait until your period is due.
