My doctor mentioned my son is big and a c section is probably going to be the way I deliver which is fine with me I just want to know how long is a typical hospital stay?

It typically a 72 hour stay. Longer if there are complications.

I had my son via c section March 20th and we went home March 22nd hospitals will very depending on their protocol. An if you want to try for a natural birth you should I've know many women who were told their baby was too big to delivery vaginally and they still did just fine.  :) the only reason i had one its cause i had one with my first son due to complications after being in labor for 36 hours.

2 days vaginal birth and 5 days c section at the hospital I had my daughter. all hospitals are different though

I believe they keep you an extra day, not 100% tho and I don't know if it's different depending on the hospital.
