Confused

OK so i took two at home pregnancy tests on feb 27th 08 and they were positive! I had been trying for almost 5 years...i have the most irregular periods ever and so i never know when or if i am so i usually take a test once a couple of months. So i had some cramping yesterday so i went in to the e.r. and they did ultrasounds and blood tests to confirm that i was pregnant and they were positive, but my dr. said that i was only about 4 to 5 days pregnant...how could he know that??? Isnt that just too early to know? I feel like im a little farther along than that...is it possible hes wrong?

I found out on the 27th that I was pregnant also! Congrats!!!
And I agree with Alaysha. ER doctors are always saying stuff that doesnt make sense. I would just wait till you go see your regular DR and see what he has to say. Keep us posted!

Are you sure he didn't mean 4-5 WEEKS? Maybe he said it wrong! LOL!

Thats what i would think but my periods are so irregular, for instance my last one was in august of last year...so that wouldnt have helped anyway.I really hope he was right and that i am pregnant.I go see my regular dr. in one week!

He wouldn't really know. On an ultrasound it would most likely be too early to see anything so he's probably basing it on how high your hcg levels are. If it was the ER doctor that told you that it wouldn't surprise me since they are always saying weird things in there. Your last period would determine how far along you are so if it was 4 weeks ago then you would be considered 4 weeks.
