Coughing

I've noticed that I have been coughing now that I'm pregnant. Is this normal or should I be worried?

I'm glad someone else posted this! I'm 37 weeks and this has happened to me all pregnancy! No reason for it, I'll just randomly start coughing. It usually happens when I lay down.

I've had the same thing! I'm twelve weeks and I'm not sick at all, I just have a random cough. I was worried it was dangerous for the baby, but any research I've done says the baby is fine. I don't understand the cough, but as long as baby is alright, I guess I'll just put up with it and ask about it at my next ob appt. Sorry to not have an actual answer, but I hope it helps to know you're not alone!

I think maybe our ammune systems lower when we first become preggo. When I first got pregnant I got strep throat then I got a cold and was sick for so long. But haven't been sick since haha
