Cramping

****** I'm really scared ******
I have been having constant cramps for about 1 week. I usually have cramping before my period starts but it only lasts for 1 day, 2 max. I think that I am pregnant but not sure. My period is about 4 days late (32 days since my last cycle). I have had 1 abortion, a miscarriage and an ectopic pregnancy (in 1999) which resulted in surgery. No pregnancies since then. I took a pregnancy test yesterday that was negative but I don't think it was right. I don't know if I'm panicing or what. Does anybody have a suggestion or comment to help?

In 2005 to 2007, no period. Is it because I'm in my 40's that I'm starting to get pre-menopause. I was glad that my period wasnt happening, so in 2007 I got married and my husband and I had intercourse off and on throughout the year of 07, he's ejaculated in me and for some reason couldnt get pregnant. Back in Dec07 we tried to see if I could get pregnant again and 2 days later I had a period, out of the blue this just happened. So again Jan 26th 08, we were fooling around, go figure and a week later I started to get camps, and these cramps were a *****, so I'm thinking I never had cramps that were this bad before then I looked in my diary and it mentioned one month back in 06 they were like really bad and then it never happened again.

So 4 days ago, when a period of mine did start, I noticed when I wiped, you could tell it was just starting, then the next day it showed up, it was brown and then blood and the next day after it ended, that was that. But the cramping is still there, till I read above that it was my body getting use to the implantation of the egg (baby).

So I'm hoping when I take another pregnancy test early in the morning, thursday this will tell me yay or nay, and it wont just be nerves.

I was Cramping for about 3 weeks....no where near my Period and thought for sure I was Pregnant. But low and behold, my Period came. She was super late but she came! However, I cramped also when I was Pregnant, so it could be either or. I would definitely suggest taking another test this week or get your blood taken like you said.
I hope everything works out for you!
Good Luck!

If you are pregnant then cramping can be very normal.  I normally cramp about 1 or 2 days max starting my cycle and when I became pregnant (which didn't know at the time) I cramped for about a week so I just thought AF was coming but she never came.  When I found out I was pregnant I went to the ER right away because I was having the cramping.  Everything was fine and Doctor said that it was my body getting use to baby.  Good luck!!

I've only taken 1 test. I did't want to jump the gun. If I don't get my period by Wed, I'm gonna get a blood test. I'll keep ya posted.

My suggestion would be to call for a doctor's appointment.  Especially if you always get your period on time and are never late.  As for the cramping, I hear that a lot of pregnant woman experience cramping around the time they would have gotten their AF.

Hope all is well.  Keep us updated
