Congrats on your pregnancy! Ok what you should do is go on youtube and search for pregnancy announcements... There are LOADS of videos with loads of different ideas on there. The only problem you might have then is which idea to pick to do!!!
Good luck and let us know how you did it!
With Labor Day coming up, maybe you could incorporate that holiday into your announcement. I was also watching a re-run of America's Funniest Home Videos yesterday, and there was a clip of this woman, who was opening up a gift from her daughter. It was a baby doll and the mother screamed out "ARE YOU PREGNANT", then proceeded to yell and run around the room. LOL.
If you are going in for a special reason (birthday or anniversary) you can order the cake...and instead of it saying happy birthday or happy anniversary you can have it say Congratulations Grandma or Grandpa or both... or something to that effect. This is what we want to do for our family. But we end up having to tell them before b/c of miscarriage.
Oh, when I told my mom for my second pregnancy...I bought refridgerator alphabet letters and wrote out Congrats Nanny and Pop Pop Boy? Girl? March 2009. I think there may be a picture on my profile of that...not sure if it's still there though.
Maybe a "Save the Date" card with your EDD on it?
I'm so sorry! I'm on my phone! Sorry and idk how to delete it!
I like the t-shirt thing bc a lot of kids love! Having ppl read their shirts. And if they don't notice u can always be like (childs name) tell (who u want to know) what ur shirt says.
Or u where something that says like momma of 3. Or like my bump? My baby bump?

I just told the parents by showing them a picture I had snapped of the test results showing the word "pregnant". It was kinda fun because the picture was on my phone so I just handed them the phone and said "look at that". It took a couple of seconds, but then came the shrieks of happiness and hugs!
And for the other parents that weren't in town I just sent them the photo via text and email and then waited for their responses. :)
I bought a t-shirt for my dd that said I am a big sister....went to my moms and when she didnt read it I finally said read Brielle's shirt mom! same thing with my dad! they both thought it was cute, if you dont have any kids you could do the same with a pet? maybe thats silly....
mmm just read that other posts, seems like I wasnt the only one with that idea! LOL
my bf just told her parents about #3. Her mom reads her girls a book called 3 baby bears, so she made a photo book and under 1 baby bear put her oldest then under 2 baby bear she put her middle child and left 3 baby bear blank...her parents thought it was pretty cute.
I would involve your other 2 kids. I forgot to mention in my last post that I used that for our 3rd too. My 2 girls wore shirts, one read i'm going to be a big sister and the other said I'm going to be a big sister again. I did the shirts for my family and the pic for my DH family.
I wish I could do the ultra sound on but I can't get in time. And this is baby #3. With my first one I was 19 years old and there was no easy way on coming out to say it, the second one we lived out of the state and the only way I could think of was let my first one tell people over the phone. So this one I want to be some what more special.
We did the ultrasound pic with our last one. We got a cute picture frame and put the picture in it. You can get a cute that says Baby or Grandparents. Then they might catch it sooner. Is this your 1st? If not buy the older sibling a shirt that say "older brother/sister". Or you can buy a maternity shirt that says baby with an arrow pointing down. A cute little onesis with a cute saying, such as, Party at my crib 2:00 am. You'll think of something fun I'm sure.
Ultrasound pictures are never a bad way to go! Most people can't tell what they are looking at, at first but MIL and moms are pretty good at telling what is in the picture! Congrats on the pregnancy and you can always google it and find some creative ways to tell family and friends!
