Do I look fat or pregnant?

I am only 12w3d, and I have hardly put on any weight in the last 6 weeks as my belly has grown. (total of 3.5 pounds)

Despite that, I am definitely feeling as if I look chunky.

I mean sure I look like I may have a baby in there, but at 12 weeks most of what we are looking at HAS to be fat, right?

you definitely look pregnant, not fat. but get used to feeling fat anyway. it's a normal part of pregnancy for your entire mid section (boobs, belly, butt, thighs) to get fatter. i'm 4 months now. I look fat and sloppy because my body has gotten bigger, but my belly isn't big enough for people to see that i'm obviously pregnant. oh well. nothing really i can do about it and millions of women before me have gone through the same thing. so i'll just try to enjoy my new shape, knowing that it's nurturing a precious baby inside me!

I don't think you look fat at all, you have a beautiful baby bump. And not only do you have a beau bump your are gorgous. I showed early on and for the longest time it seemed like my bump was the same size forever. YOUR NOT FAT :] No where on your belly do i see fat it's all bump girl :)

Are you sure? It just seems strange to me that I look as if I am 5 months and not 3 months. I am just so sick of people going on and on about how big I am.

I am feeling fat enough as it is, normally I am 123 pounds and right now I am 155.7 pounds.

I put on weight around my belly area at the beginning of the year with a pregnancy that I lost, and then I put on weight after the miscarriage (trying to replace everything I lost to be as healthy as possible to conceive again)

I fell pregnant again 2 months later, and during this pregnancy have only put on 3.5 pounds. I am kind of hoping that some of the fat will convert to baby as the pregnancy advances...

BTW:  any weight you put on will be dispersed in various regions of your body - it wouldnt  just be localized on your stomach area.

I agree w/ Kelly!  Thats a pregnancy belly, not a "fat" belly!

No way....you like you're a small person to begin with, so that's probably why you're showing already........Cute belly....doesn't look fat at all!
