Does evening primrose oil really help to start labor
I just wanted to know if anyone has any experence with this cause im thinking about trying it i've read that it contains prostaglandins like in semen and since i have no one to have sex with i think i should give it a try thats the only way im going to get that spefic hormone and my doctor told me to have sex and that should trigger my labor process right?
My doctor suggested it with me last pregnancy and im not sure if that did it or me being in the prosses of moveing did:( I would like to think it worked! I had a hard time putting it on my cervix so I took it orally everyday. I am almost positive that it would of worked better had iI put it on my cervix. Best of luck:) How far along are you? You dont want to self induce too early.I was 3 weeks from my due date with a 7 pound baby. And my doctor gave me the go ahead. My son was almost 2 weeks early and very healthy!
im 39weeks and 2days im due to go in 5 days from now on the 25th i just started taking them this afternoon i took 2 orally and inserted 2 in my you know i put them as far back as i could does it take long for this method to work how long were you trying it before it worked for you if you don't mind me asking
about a week...but like I said I was moving and had very little help. I was lifting stuff I know I shouldn't have been lifting:( I only took one a day, so..... you said that you dont have a man to have sex... masterbation (masturbation) also triggers contracions.... you can give that a try:) Like I said I was moving... you can try moving around your living room. spicy food, long walks....Does this help?
cook some chicken and load it with Rosemary. Then massage your ankles in circular motions...(as an esthetician I'm not suppose to use products with rosemary in it on preggos as it can induce labour...same with the akle massage)
pacing the house count. If you have stairs in your house try climing them. STOP if you get light headed or dizzy though.
Your dr appt tomarrow?
I have a feeling that you'll be on your way to a delivery befor long....but you might just have to wait for your baby to make up it's mind on when he/she wants to come:)
ok my appointment is on monday inthink i might just go into labor soon my BD came back like 2:30 this morning were going to do it all weekend hopfully he'll make up his mind this weekend and decide to make his grand entrance to the world another question what if you take the evening primrose oil and have sex will that work faster being that your getting 2 doses of the same hormone or will it just make me sick?
oh well then i will do both no not in labor yet but my back is killing me its been hurting like hell since yesterday could this be an early stage of labor i don't know cause i don't have any pains in my stomach
i have heard of woman saying that their backs hurt a day or 2 before giving birth. I read read online that you can try squatting down as low are you can and it puts pressure on the needed area... it said its used in some hospitals too. I saw it on Discover health channel too. Its a form of yoga for pregnant woman. good luck
try a heating pad on your back, it might ease up the pain a little. and have your man rub the area for you, its the least he can do. i had back labor with all three of my children, if you can get in the postion try getting on all fours to relieve the pressure on your back. and sex also sent me into labor with 2 of my babies... its worth a shot!
