Dont know what to think

I found out i was pregnant on the 20th of september i was 9 weeks pregnant then i went into the doctor yesterday and they said the could hear the heart beat but the reason i went in was because i was having contraction pains but the doctor felt my uterus and said thats weird your uterus is the size of a 9 week pregnant persons i was like that cant be i should be about 4 months pregnant now.. i was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem because i dont know what to think and i was also wondering if the baby can still be alive in you but just stop growing ? please help me

yeah i got an ultrasound done on the 20th of september but im going to get ahold of this other doctors office and they will get me another one done right away im just worried and just want to know if a baby can stop growing because of something being wrong with it and if it can still me alive in me and i was also wondering if they have to put a needle in my tummy to get fluid out to check does it hurt?

Have you gotten an ultrasound yet? I would say get an ultrasound to make sure everything is going on okay in there and that the baby is healthy and growing. Ultrasounds are the most accurate for early pregnancy dating. Plus it could rule out any problems. But if for the last month the baby hasn't increased in size at all that isn't good all babies until about week 13 follow the same pattern of growth.

yes i would have gotten pregnant in july because i didnt have my period in august and the doctors said i was 9 weeks pregnant on the 20th of sept and i got checked out 2 days ago and he said thats weird your uterus is the same size when you got told you where 9 weeks i dont get that

If you found out that you were pregnant on the 20th of september then you last period was around the 22nd of August? By my calculations that would make you 9 weeks. I'm not sure where you are getting 4 months from that would mean that you got pregnant back in July.
