Early Labor?

So as I've posted before I am 4 cm dilated about 70% effaced and lost my mucus plug throughout Thursday and Friday. Friday (yesterday) I was nauseous throughout the day and even pooped twice (sorry if TMI).

Well ever since this morning I have been SOO nauseous but haven't thrown up and when I poop I still don't feel better afterwards (I've pooped 3 times between 8a.m. and 4p.m. and the last was diarrhea). Also, accompanying the nausea is back pain. It is constant dull pain throughout my whole back and about every 10 to 15 min I will get a "flare" of back pain that starts in the middle/lower portion of my back and spreads to the rest of my back. But I don't feel "cramps" in the front...and I've felt my belly a couple of times and it is somewhat taught but my stomach is really stretched because baby is so big so not sure?

Could this be early labor? Anyone else not feel "real contractions" and be in actual labor? I know my mom didn't even feel her contractions but went to hospital because mucus plug broke (turns out she was way dilated and they broke her water...Then she felt contractions).

Well they were contractions I was having yesterday and pretty regularly but they didn't seem to be doing anything so L&D sent me home  :(

Might be contractions and you could be experiencing back labor - with back labor you may not feel any stomach pain at all.

Next time it happens keep your hands on your lower belly for a few mins  and see if it becomes firm and then relaxes.  If it does, you are having contractions.

Call your dr and ask if you need to come in.  Since you are already at 4cm you probably need to head to l&d at the earliest sign of labor because there is a possibility of fast labor (may not happen but your cervix is quite dilated to begin with so it could happen quickly).

I say if you are concerned then go to the hospital and see what they say. Worst case scenario is they send you home.
