Evap lines

What exactly do they look like? I had a blue dye test last month that looked like it may have been a positive, but the line was not thick it was about half the thickness of the control line. The test was the generic, blue-dye version of First Response. I bought EPTs yesterday because the store had no other brand. If it's not as thick as the control line is it a positive or and evap or could it be either? I have used EPT before and got obviously negative results with NO line whatsoever besides the control lines. I'm just curious what an evap line would look like. I took an EPT this morning just for fun to see what would happen, and it had a faint line that became darker, but it is not as thick as the control line. It's the EPT +/- type. I do have a digital and another EPT. I'm only at best 6-8DPO not sure exactly. I know it's early and I will be testing around 12 DPO or waiting until the latest day AF is due by. I'm just posting this for experiences.

it will not be as thick as the first line mine wasnt....and if u didnt wait over 5 mins its a positive... and if u showin a light positive i would go ahead and do the digital one.. i had an evaporation line but it was after 5 mins. my positive wasnt that thick...

I've checked out pee on a stick. I didn't see any pictures that looked like mine, there was only one false positive for EPT, and not many pictures of positives. I'm going to test again when I know it's closer, or when AF is due. I was just wondering if anyone had gotten a false positive and what it looked like, also if the line of a positive has to be thick. I haven't found an answer to that one yet.

Have a look at peeonastick.com explains in detail about evap lines.6-8dpo would be a bit early for a definate result by now.so its most likely an evap line,but has been known.I personally use the digital ones,found myself holding up to light shouting yay positive,only to be dissapointed.best of luck.
