Fetal heart rate at 6 weeks

I just got home from our first ultrasound with our 5 baby.  The heart rate was 103 bm and I have to go back in 2 weeks to check it again. Is this normal?  I never had this issue with my other children. I want to stop worrying about it.

He sent me home and told me to wait for 4 days then go in for another but sd to get ready for a m/c Im cramping and spotting! This is my 4th child no prior m/c my yungest is 10yrs old and I'm 36. I want to know if this is normal or should I be worried? Please let me know...

I am having another ultrasound on September 30th. I am praying the heart rate gets stronger. I will keep you posted.

I can completely relate... I'm still crazy with this pg because I had 3 m/c between my 2 children. I think once you have experienced a loss it is just so hard to relax.
Try to hang in there though. A heart beat is a good sign, and hopefully it will just keep getting stronger! Did they say when they would do another u/s? Keep us posted

No not really. I had a miscarriage 10 years ago so I always worry. I am sure everything will be fine.  thanks

I wouldn't worry too much as the heart beat has just started at this stage. At 6.5 weeks our babies h/b was only 120, then a few weeks later it was in the 170's. I'm 16 weeks now and its usually in the 150s-160s. Did you Dr. seem concerned?
