First OB Appointment

I go to my first OBGYN appointment at the end of the month. I will be 9, almost 10 weeks. What should I expect?

I have my first appointment at 9 weeks. I never had an early appointment with my first.  Would they be able to hear the baby's heart beat through a doppler? I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks 6 days and everything was good

Depends on your doctor.

If everybody has calculated correctly, you should be seeing a 'peanut' I've never seen a 10 week only  7-8 week ultrasound. At 10 weeks if they do an internal one you should also get to hear babies heartbeat:) I heard both my girls strong at 8 weeks and after the dr pointed it out I could see baby.

Don't be worried if you don't see baby right away, it's normal specially for first time moms who haven't seen an early ultrasound before. With my first I had to ask twice before I saw her.

Congrats!
