It really just depends on who your doctor is when you get stuff done cause i have good insurance but i only had blood work to make sure my levels were high enough for an ultrasound and then they did an abdominal ultrasound and a transvaginal ultrasound. I dont get how you were able to hear the heart beat because any doctor and nurse that ive talked or my mom has talkedto. Cause she works at a hospital has said they can measure the heart beat that early but not hear it. Im 10 weeks and dont get to gear my babys heart beat til next week.

I was 6 weeks for my first appointment.
I got an abdominal  ultrasound,  blood work, a pap smear, heard the babies heart beat, got my weight checked..it all depends  on your dr and insurance .

Hi! I have my first appointment on February 12th too! I'll be 6 weeks and 4 days though. From what I understand it isn't too early at 5 weeks to have an ultra sound, it might be too early to hear the heart beat but as far as just measuring the size and wellness of your baby they should be able too! I'm going to request my doctor give me one because I'm very anxious to see my little one!

3rd pregnancy. Praying that it will be my second child. My son is almost 3 so my pregnancy is kind of a blur to me right now. Lol Will it be too early for an ultrasound?
