Getting Induce when I am 37 weeks and a half

Hi Ladies, so Thursday I got told I was going to be Induce at 37 weeks in a half. The reason because of it will be safe for baby and I since I had an emergency C-section with my first. I wanted to know if any moms out there was Induce? And was it by drip and how long did it take to go into labor? And to have the baby? Thanks

With my first I got induced at 40wks 1day. No c-section though. They just gave me this stuff like morphine and before they gave me epidural they broke my water and it was super painful. Son came the next day and I got ripped 4th degree.
This is my 2nd pregnancy , I'm due the 27th but I'm getting induced the 25th (: only because I got to choose.

I was induced with my first by pills under my toung. But ended in an emergency Csection 12 hours after induced. But because I had 1 csection,  all of mine had to be by csections.
