Gold band gender prediction

Has anyone else done the gold band test to find babies gender? Was it accurate? My husband and I just did it and it clearly went back and forth (boy), I guess we will see next week at my u/s!

Now, my son is going to be a father.....ring test says, round and round.
Ultra sound says boy. Dont know what to think.

THIS TEST WORKS!

1st time, back and forth for my son
2nd time, round and round for my daughter
3rd time, round and round for my niece
4th time, back and forth for my grandson
5th time, round and round for my co-workers daughter

I just find it fun to do them and see what they say but I just wish I knew already! I can't wait to shop!

lol yeah Chinese gender chart says girl for me too. Weird huh? But fun anyway. Keeps us all entertained since we have a 50-50 shot at being right.

Was right for both my girls. Although it's 50/50 so I suppose it could be just chance?
It's fun & free so why not?!

My mother in laws first was a girl, this test says boy, and the Chinese gender chart says girl when done with lunar age haha I guess we will see which was right!

This is also done with a needle and thread -- thread the needle, knot and rub it on the side of your hand for about a minute. You can either have it "read" your palm or hang over your abdomen. Back and forth is a boy, circles for a girl.

I did this one and got boy. Same on the mother-in-law test -- your first child is supposed to be the same gender as your partner's mom's firstborn. Weird, but seems to be true in my family so far.

Course the only myth that's guaranteed to work in our family is Grandma's magic prediction. Somehow she just knows!

I'm only 5 wks along, when can u try this ? I'm not sure if I want to know. We didn't find out for our first child. It was so fun! But now I kinda wanna know.

I get to have my ultrasound at 17 weeks which is in 2 1/2 weeks. I think what JoJo is talking about is a test you can buy at Walgreens for $40. It's a urin test. They claim 87% accuracy but when I asked about it on here everyone said the people they knew who took it said it was wrong. I did the band test. It said I was having a girl. Hope it's right!!

You just hold it over your belly and it will start moving in either a straight line back and forth (boy) or a circle (girl) if you google it you can find better directions too (:

The wait is terrible. I am going to try this though, and see if it works. Just for fun. I really think I am having a boy.

Jojo you don't have to buy anything, you just use a plain gold wedding band hung from string, a gold chain, or even a middle and hold it over your stomach... If it moves up and down it's supposedly a boy and if it goes in a circle it's a girl. I didn't think it would actually move but it really did! Montanagirl

When do you find out? I am waiting for a call from the ultrasound place to set up my apt but it should be next week! I was really hoping for a girl but I am pretty convinced it's a boy and I will love him just as much as I would a little girl!

I have a friend that says it works. I just did it to myself and it says girl. Now I want to know how accurate too!!
