It means false labor. It does the work of preparing the uterus and cervix for birth. The contractions are usually irregular and more intense then braxton hicks. It can be days before you go in to actual labor.I only know this from things I have read.It must be really furstrating for you.Are you having contractions at all?
yea it is im haveing contractions hear and their but they always go away within a few hours
Yeah that's pretty normal and sounds really annoying. Your body is preparing itself for birth. You can go into labor 2morrow or next week. There is no telling.I guess it's up to the baby! Was your dr. trying to get you furthur along?
You can stay dilated for many weeks before going into labor. It is not any indication that your baby is coming soon. Braxton Hicks contractions are also normal. Real labor contractions will not subside or come-and-go (they will be persistent).
Take it easy!
