Have Twins V-back or C- section

Hello all!
My little sister is pregnant with twins, and is due August 8th. Her first baby was born vaginally with no complications whatsoever. She recently moved out of state and has begun seeing a new doctor. This Dr. is insisting on a c- section and told my sister that she never delivers twin vaginally. She then began to rattle off all sorts of potential complications if my sister chose a vaginal birth and basically scared her into do a c-section. I am certainly not opposed to c-sections when necessary, but does anyone think that she should seek a second opinion? Does anyone have any advice I can relay to my sister? Thanks.

Here is ICAN (International Cesarean Awareness Network) on FB:

And the article above from MedScape won't show up without a login for some ODD reason so I found the exact same article on another site. This was written in February of 2011 so it's very recent:

If you Google 'vaginal twin birth' and you'll find tons of wonderful, supportive information including YouTube videos. In the USA a women with twins is almost automatically signed up for a cesarean. I find that to be highly irresponsible of doctors to assume that a woman, with no other risks, should have a cesarean simply because there is more than one baby.

I have actually read several studies just this past week on vaginal twin births and how vaginal birth is MUCH safer for baby.

Your sister deserves a second opinion. She deserves to be supported in her quest for a vaginal twin delivery. Her doctor should be, at the VERY least, allowing her to TRY a vaginal delivery.

I'll go try to find the articles I have read recently.
