Hcg Levels low and rising slowww

Hi, I'm 33 years old I had a tubal done when I was 21, Had a tubal reversal done in 2002. I finally got pregnant 5 years later. But i'm scared I will miscarry or that I have a tubal pregnancy. After missing my period, i took a home pg test and was a faint positive. I then went to dr next day had another pg test with a faint positive, went through that week with slight menstral like cramping but no bleeding continued to work. On that sat. night i was having pains not real bad in my right side, again sun. morning. Then I went to bathroom and wiped blood, went to ER and had a ultrasound done, my hcg lvl. was 37 they could not see anything my cervix was still closed. I spotted on my monday, a little on tuesday then stopped tuesday night. Then spotted a tiny on wednesday went to get hcg level and it rose to 59. Its Friday and i am having no cramps no bleeding had another hcg test will know results later today. Is my pregnancy doomed, does it mean a m/c since my hcg is low and not going up fast???

Well I went to dr. yesterday. They said its a tubal, they couldn't see in u/s but the hcg levels way to low for a viable pg so i had to make an extremely difficult decision to take the methotrexate injection to terminate pg, i so wanted this baby, its been 6 years since my tubal reversal and its heartbreaking, but if i didn't do this and they ended up have to surgically remove my chances of ever having another will be zip, being i only have my right tube that works. SO SAD!!! but the lord knows best and i'll put my faith in this one wasn't meant to be. I put it in his hands. To all that has had a loss I'm so sorry its hard, so heartbreaking.

lol i dont know hun they only did them the once and have just said do another pregnancy test to see if it is picking up and then phone them up thats why i feel left in the dark

well hun like i said before my last menstryal cycle was 13th oct and i have had near enough the same problems i started bleeding it lasted 2 days i went for a scan and they said they was worried that it was a e/p so they did 2 scans luckily mine isnt a e/p and they could see the sack in the uterus they didnt say that it was misscarying i find out tomorrow where i stand as my tests wasnt picking up on the pregnancy either i think maybe u could have ovulated later than what u think keep me updated hun i will let u all know tomorrow how i got on

The dr there said that it did almost double, but still pointing towards a tubal. to wait till monday get another hcg done, well according to my last m/c of oct. 13 i should be 6 weeks my cycles are 24 days apart. but they also tell me that maybe i had a late ovulation. maybe even right at my period. because i should have had my period on nov 6th and i home tested on the 9th with neg. results tested again on the 11th with a faint pos. and again on the 12th at the doc office with a faint pos. so they say e/p then say could be you conceived at your period i don't know. i'm confused this is my 3rd p/g last was 13yrs ago never had problems so i'm going nuts. i am high risk for tubals because i had my tubel and then a tubal reversal done.

I got my results from my hcg test friday it was 59 wed. 81 friday and 107 saturday i test again monday. still going up to slow!???? u/s yesterday showed n/v pg in tubes or uterus omg what does that mean?

I agree with maybrie, everyone is different. I have worked in OB for 6 years and there are always exceptions to the rule. However, when I had miscarried I did not have any bleeding either...it's what is called a missed AB (missed abortion) which remains in the uterus and usually needs to be evacuated within 6 weeks if not spontaneous. I'm sorry to hear about your situation

Normal preg also cause aches and cramps I didn't want to scare you   but e/p is a life threatining condition and u need to be careful that doesn't mean you have an e/p by any means. Remember that I spotted throughout the entire 9 weeks of my pregnancy so if ur not bleeding thats a good sign !
All women are not the same with e/p some women have no symptoms at all some mild symptoms and some severe. So don't drive urself crazy bc u have one or two symptoms that someone else had.Try to relax (yea right) and wait to see what happens with hcg and don't forget to ask for another u/s.

Well, the doctor left early from office yesterday so i didn't call in time to get my hcg levels, i haven't had any bleeding since wednesday no cramps....i wish i could have gotten my hcg levels yesterday but will have to wait till monday. anyways....i am having back ache off and on when i get up and move around alot mainly in my upper back and i am a slumper i don't know i'm scared, when the doc did a pelvic friday she said the cervix was closed and firm. but scared of a e/p due to my slow rising hcg levels and me having a tubal reversal. GEEZ could it be a e/p if i'm not bleeding and no real cramping??????? could it be possible that i have a normal p/g just low hcg maybe they will go up is that possible???? anyone??? i'm going completly insane!!!

They can't always see if something is in your tube with u/s depending on were in the tube thepregnancy might be, mine was so very close to the uterus they couldn't see anythng at all. If you are 5-6 weeks it is totally possible that they just can't see anything yet my doc told me that usually they like to wait till hcg is at least 2000 before u/s so by then pretty much they'll be able to see something,so don't panic yet it's still very early for u I would request another u/s and keep having them check ur levels every ouple of days.Be safe and cautious because you are high risk for e/p just like I am u don't want to lose that remaining tube if indeed thats the case.

I really don't know how far along I am, according to my last cycle oct. 13 I would be approx 5/6 weeks but with my cycles being anywhere between 22 to 24 days apart never over 24 Might be that i'm not as far as they think, Is what they said. The u/s  showed no visable pg, i have a ovarion cyst on ovary, which isn't new for me i've had those for years every month. and i have a few fybroids the cyst on my ovary would explain the pain in the side i was having, i have had that for years so i know that feeling when i have those present. but things is i'm high risk for tubal pregnancy because i had a tubal reversal. So its scary, but wouldn't they have been able to tell something in the tube when doing the u/s. I'm not sure what to do, I don't want to lose the baby being i waited 5 years and finally got pg after the tubal reversal. GEEZ i'm going crazy wondering hoping praying. But i don't want to take a chance in losing my last remaining tube. My left tube is no good after reversal leaving me with the right to get pg on and it took 5 yrs to get pg with that one. HELP

I don't want to scare you I'm not a doctor I can only tell u my story. I found out I was pg nov5   about 8 weeks pg. my levels were slow rising. Only went up 200 every couple days 2 u/s no visible pg.I never had any pain doc kept suggesting e/p I was in denial and waited to long I waited till I started getting dull back aches,oh yea I spotted the entire time too anyway I ended uo loosing my right tiube.With ur hcg numbers it would be way to early  to see anything on u/s. how far along are u?

i am not a expert i am having problems with my hcg level at the moment mine started at 11 and i havnt been checked yet to see if it has gone up the doctors have assured me if my hcg level is going up and not down everything should be fine i have had bleeding to but mine was just for 2 days i know it is very scary its like a waiting game they havnt said i am misscarying but been left in the dark notknowing is very scary i wish u luck and hope everything goes well for u
