That's completely false... its just an old wives tale. Its true for some and untrue for others as it means nothing. It has been wrong for mostly everyone I know. My babies heart rate is always high.. 150-160 and im 100%so having a boy.
Try the baking soda method.. I heard that works for a lot of people.. although that could be false too. Lol
My baby's heart beat has always been under 160..... a friend of mine told me I was having a boy when I was 8 weeks. 2 weeks ago I found out I was having a boy!!!! So she was right.
She says if under 160 it's a boy over 160 is a girl. Her Dr let her in on that secret.
I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks, and the hr was 126 or something like that. Then the next ultrasound it was 179. I had a girl. My SIL's first ultrasound at 7 weeks where they could see a heartbeat, it was 130's, and she was determined it was a boy. The next one it was 160's. She had a girl. My cousin's first ultrasound was 130's and she had a boy. I just think it's one of those things. It has a 50% chance of being right!
127 and 129 i had 2 little boys! :)
It has a 50% chance of being right because its a false accusation.... of course its going to sometimes be right and sometimes be wrong because it isn't true.........
I asked my doc about it and she said the heart rate has nothing to do with the gender.
What is the baking soda method?
Mines was 160 i pray its a girl
mine at 8 weeks was 115 and its a boy
Mine was 137 at 19 weeks and I'm having a GIRL. =]
Mine has consistently been 155 I'm 14 wks now and I really hope it's a girl!!! We will find out next month hopefully!
I have 3 girls and a boy...all my girls heart rates were high 160 and my boy was always 130-140! So it was true for me!
with this preg the heartbeats have been above 140 and 150....the old wives tales would say 1 boy and 1 girl but im having 2 boys
What other little gender tests can we do? Even if only for fun......lol
mines a steady 140 everytime and shes all girl lol x
I honestly don't believe in that because my girls were lower than my boys. And my boys were more active than my girls. I hear all sorts of tales but its something I don't go by.
Wasn't true for me. My baby's heart rate has always been between 150-160 and it's 100% boy!
My baby was pretty 135-145 in the beginning and then 145-155 mostly in the end and I had a girl
Its always interesting to put those old wives tales to the test! I read about the baking soda one- sounds interesting! Any other gender prediction methods? How you're carrying- all around vs all belly, High vs low? Girls take beauty and boys give it- were you 'pretty' during your pregnancy?
Google the baking soda method.
