I brought my own clothes and out her in them because when I had my daughter they only provided a lng sleeved onsie and I think that its cold in hospitals so I just wanted her to be warm but you will defentily need a outfit to come home in, I also brought a warm blanket just for in there and the way home but I feel like every mom over packs so don't afraid to just through in there what you feel like you will need ! :) Also they will give you diapers and formula so if your going straight home after the hospital I wouldn't worry about that. And for myself I always bring socks, plenty of pannies, pads, pj's and I brought a robe because I would freeze, and my slippers. Of course I brought my hygiene products.
Definitely depends on your location as to what is provided. I live in Michigan and at the hospital I will driver in they provide everything while I'm there, I just need the stuff to bring him home like clothes, car seat and blanket. You can call Labor and delivery and ask what is provided and for a list of what to bring for baby.
the hospital don't provide clothes, u take ur own. Just pack lots of baby grows and baby vests mayb 3 or 4 of each. But have some handy in ur house to someone can drop them to u if needed. I was only in over night and went through about 6 vests and 6 baby grows. Had to get hubby to bring up more. As for nappies I would pack mayb 6. And a wee blanket for baby. And also a wee hat, for when they are born. I also packed 3 sets of pjs for myself bcos u wear one when giving birth and after that u get a bath and have a fresh pair on, and then a spare set just incase. Also pack some santery towels, things u might forget.x
I'm in the same position, I'm 38 weeks and 5 days... I packed my clothes for me and my son. I packed all the essentials like his clothes, shoes, 3 diapers, blanket, car seat and clothes for myself.
