When your water breaks it depends. With my first my water broke without contractions and I was 2cm dilated didn't get contractions until 16 hours after my water broke and then had my baby 26 hours after my water broke. Infection only increases after 72+ hours after your water breaks plus the more vaginal checks you have also increases it. I refused all medications in the hospital even antibiotics.
Depends on the person. Some people's water breaks and their labor still doesn't start. Most hospitals won't let you go over 24 hours for risk of infection though. My water broke and I was in dull blown labor 10 minutes later, 9 cm not even 4 hours later. So it can go fast but sometimes it can also go slow.
My water did break & I'm currently being induced, thank you all
My water broke at 9:15pm and I delivered my son at 4:05am.
It does sound like your water breaking. When mine broke, I had blood too.
Good luck!(:
My water had broke at about 3:30 am and I had my daughter at 1:13pm. They had to induce me after my Contractions didnt start on their own
My water broke at 9am , my son didn't arrive until 1:20am && I was induced all pregnancies are different hun
It took me about 2 hours until she came out, but everybody is different ive seen women water break and in no more than 10 min the baby is out already
Call your doctor! If your water broke, it's go time! They will want to deliver the baby within about 24 hours.
I would call your doctor. When your water breaks there can be blood..and if your seeing blood its better safe that sorry. I would for sure call to be on the safe side.
If it was your water it will continue to leak amd you will know once you start contracting goodluck
I was asleep and I woke up with liquid just gushing out, sometimes I do urinate myself a little but this was a lot..how do I know if its my water breaking or not..and when I wiped it was pink on the toilet paper
Mhmmm I'm not positive but I would think labor starts as soon as your water breaks and then however long you are in labor... which is different between every pregnancy and every person
