How long before you went into labor

I'm 35w 2 1/2cm 90% effaced
My fFN was positive at 32w , I also have preeclampsia. Ive had the steroid injections for baby already so doctor doesn't want to stop labor anymore..

Last week I was 1 1/2cm and 0% effaced , this week I am 2 1/2cm and 90% effaced. I also had an ultrasound and baby is engaged.
How long before you were 100% effaced and in active labor ??

I had my son at 33 weeks. Went in for contractions, they gave me a shot to stop them. Then sent me home. Went into full labor just the next day they couldn't stop it. It happens that fast some times

Seems like you are moving in the right direction.  I was 1 cm for I don't want to tell you how long.  Okay, since you asked . . . ha ha . . .  I was 1 cm for a full 4 weeks.  Maybe even a bit longer.  I had my baby 10 days after my due date.  I went from 1 cm to 10 in a day.  Ouch!  You seem like you are dilating faster though and with preeclampsia, they would not allow you to go over and may need to make the baby come on command.  I had high blood pressure but it didn't develop into pre eclampsia with my first baby.  That's serious stuff!  So, I would guess you'll have your baby really soon.  good luck
