How long will the clotted bleeding continue???

For some who haven't read my posts, I am miscarrying.  I started the clotted bleeding Friday, which continued Saturday.  Went to ER and was told after ultrasound and bloodwork that I was in fact miscarrying.  I continued to bleed heavily Saturday night and I went to the bathroom and there was a large matter on the tissue when I wiped.  It looked like an overgrown blood clot, but it was very firm, not like a blood clot.  I assumed that was the sac.  My cramping and heavy bleeding stopped after I passed that.  Then Sunday, it started up again as heavy as before.  Same today.  How long does this last?  This is my second loss.  My first, I had a D&C, so I didn't really go through the trials on miscarrying naturally.  I called my OB's office today and my OB is out and the on call doctor said to just wait and see my OB, so I go Wed.  I guess this is routine for them, but it's not for me.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Kristy

Well normally after everything has past you stop cramping and bleeding. Well at least with the clotting. I spotted lightly after I past everything and then with in a couple of days I stopped bleeding all together.

I can't believe they said for you to wait and see your Dr. are you in any pain at all? Just watch for pain and heavy bleeding. Which would mean no everything has come out and you may need another D&C. Just don't want you to get an infection you know. Let me know how it all turns out.
