Breastfeeding burns approximately 300-500 calories per day. Weight loss is about energy in vs. energy out. If you eat more than you burn you won't lose weight but if you eat a healthy diet and utilize reasonable portion control then the calories burned by breastfeeding will help with weight loss.
Note, waste trainers still require a lot of exercise. If not used properly you can lose muscles you didn't even realize you had which will make your life a lot tougher. Use with caution
It all depends on your body type and metabolism. My son sucked me right back to where I was originally. Others aren't so lucky. A healthy diet and exercise are really the only real way to go. I still eat things I don't care for because they are good for myself and baby. I also workout while pregnant to stay fit so I don't have a bunch of extra weight to lose. Best of luck to yoh
Any type of running or cardio work will help shed tons of fat and then crunches will help tone (: also, you can use a waist trainer! I'm planning on getting one!
