Hi ladies.. Things are still going great. I am now 5weeks! I have a midwife appointment next week, i can't wait! Just hoping things will continue to go great for us!

Aww.. thankyou so much for all you'r advice! I will make an appointment for tomorrow with the doctor.. I already have folic acid, which is a bonus! So have taken one today.

congrats!!! walking is great, dieting not great. you shouldnt be eating less calories than you burn when you are pregnant you need about 200 more a day in the beginning to feed the baby.
Congrats on your pregnancy and your weight loss! I've actually heard that diets like weight watchers and the slimfast diet are ok during pregnancy. Definitely consult your doctor on this s/he would know best. Good luck hun!
Congratulations!! I agree, continue with the walking but don't over do it. Stop with the diet! What you need to do now is make sure u eat a heathy diet, google healthy diet during pregnancy and im sure you will get lots of advice. You might find that eating the right kind of foods actually help you loose weight too. When i followed a heathly pregnancy plan (as like a trial run but without the extra calories from the milk) i lost about 5 pounds in a week! But i was getting all the nutrients and vitamins and protein that i needed. So as long as your following a healthy diet and the baby is growing ok you might still loose weight!

Congratulations!!! I would definitely continue walking, but I think I would stop the dieting. We know by now that our bodies need more calories during pregnancy. But that doesn't mean that you can't eat healthy, fruits, veggies, protein. I am preggo with our second child and so far have been pretty lucky. I haven't craved sweets, mostly fruits and veggies and good home cooked meals. With our daughter, all I wanted was sweets and junk. It was hard to stick to a good nutritious diet with her. I wish you the best with your pregnancy. Hope all goes well.
