I'm a little confused as to what my cycle is doing? Help...

Hi ppl, im a 21 year old woman, and I need a little advice as im not quite sure what is going on with my cycle? I havent had a proper cycle in years so dont fully understand ovulating etc (as iv not needed to know) so please, be patient with me :-)

Iv been on the Depo-injection for about 4 years, then decided against staying on it as iv hardly ever had any bleeding in those 4 years, which cant be good for my body.

So i stayed off any birth control for 7 months up until august this year, in order to give my body a break and try and gain a cycle back, so me and my partner used condoms for that time. I then mid last month, i decided to start the pill to help the process of me getting routine in my cycle, so i started the first pack and had my 7 day break, which from then i got about 4-5 day bleed starting around the 17th of septemeber, but from then i forgot to start the next pack from my 7 day break, and noticed around 26-27 that i had what i considered to be ovulation cervical mucus, is that an appropriate time to ovulate? (as i thought that it was very quick after my bleed to ovulate, but then again my body is messed up)..

On the 27th me and my partner had unprotected sex and then next day wondered if i was ovulating still, so i checked the position of my cervix and found it was very high up, quite hard to reach, but felt soft, but also long?? is it meant to feel long or is the what is meant by low down??

Anyways i decided not to carry on with my pill as im not fully understanding whats going on with my cycle at the moment, and dont mind if i am pregnant.. it is now 3 days after unprotected sex, im not sure if there is a chance i was ovulating or not.. But iv not had any bleeding happen since. Iv just got some very mild cramping every now and again since this morning. So could i be pregnant or was i not ovulating?

It's so hard isn't it... Iv had bad cramping still, but again only spotting, it's so annoying isn't it, not knowing!! Ahh iv got my fingers crossed for you x

hi i understand how you feel. im am late for my period by nearly 4 days . i tested but got a negitive result 2 days ago. im dyin to test again to find out.. lol

pink mucus can be implantation bleeding. you just never know. its either usually light pink or brown blood.

Oh iv just noticed pinky coloured mucus.. what would that be?

I work in the NHS so iv always brought packs of pregnancy strips home incase i ever needed them, so i have taken one today and obviously it was negative, just the suspend is killing me, im not desperate to be pregnant, but im one of those people who has to know something like now!! haha..

The day after my last bleed, my nipples became so sore and still are, so i know that has nothing to do with being pregnant, just from last night my breasts are now sore and my right one is firm on one side. I dont know how soon symptoms come as iv read so many different things on the matter.. I was just wondering why am i cramping today (mildly and only now and again)..  Usually if i miss the pill after 2 or so days i have light bleeding straight away, but iv had non of that and now my cervical mucus looks creamy, i dont know why, but i just 'feel' pregnant..

hi there if you only had sex on the 27th you would not be pregnant yet as it can take some time for the egg to travel to implant,this usually happens 7-10 days after ovulation/unprotected sex. also unless you check ur cervix all the the time you wouldnt know what way it should be at different times in your cycle as everyone is different..  your best option maybe would be to wait a couple of weeks and take an early response  pregnancy test.. as for your cycles your right they would be messed up because of the contraception,but as you had unprotected sex there is every chance you could get pregnant.
