Just here to grumble....

Today is my due date and..................... nada, nothing, zilch.

I'm distracting myself but it's hard not to pass the calendar and sigh and even pout a little. BUT she will come when she comes. She has to come out by at least Tuesday (a week from today, at 41 weeks, the midwife will break my water if I don't have her on my own).

Send some labor dust my way! Like truckloads of it!!!

I understand that feeling well - - and I am sending lots of labor dust your way.  Did the midwife check you for dilation, etc?  Also, I don't recall, but did your due date change at all throughout the pregnancy to an earlier date?

Just saw your other post with the update from your doctor's visit.  You are making some progress though, so maybe things will get going in the next couple of days.  Hang in there.

I went from 1cm, 0% effaced to 2cm, 50% effaced in two weeks.

No due date change but baby measured 5 days smaller at her anatomy scan so I keep telling myself that maybe it'll be sometime in the next 5 days or something.

Still here! Sitting on the birth ball actually. This is super super TMI and I'm a modest person but I just had a ton of bloody show and loss of mucous plug. Or are they one in the same?! Well... whatever! You know what I mean.

Just took a shower and waiting for my hair to dry. Feeling lots of pressure but still... nada. Come on baby Zoe!!!

I had my bloody show/ mucus loss the night-before-last and a little more of it last night. Still nothing has happened. Severe lower backpain for the last 4 days. Low strong braxton hicks been happening for days. I am actually 41 Weeks today though. I know exactly how you feel Joy, it's been frustrating watching my due date come and go, and the due date week come and go too! I'm getting induced Saturday morning if still no sign, so she's gonna have to come out then lol!. I can barely walk without a limp at the mo (backpain is that bad) So baby will be here maximum of 3 days time.
Been curious if Zoe will get here before Abi....... but looks like we're in the same boat at the mo.
Sending L&D dust your way, whilst sprinkling some on myself!!! ;-)

Not a thing yet except for more MP and a ton of pressure!!! I hope when I do go in I'm like 7-8 cm and can just push this baby out not much longer after I arrive.

Chantal, it does keep happening- so gross! It seems like I get a ton of pain and contractions at night and then they fizzle out. So frustrating because I keep thinking, "This is it!" Sounds like I'm most likely in early labor which can last a few days. *SIGH, SIGH, SIGH*

Well look at this way....if you are in early labor it means things ARE progressing and it won't be much longer.  Atleast you are doing SOMETHING :)  Hang in there.  She's gonna be here before you know it!!!

Oh I hear ya!! I felt like I was in early labor forever! Which can be a good thing because when I finally went to my midwife I was already 6cm and only had an hour of really intense labor. I have a feeling you will be holding Zoe before or at least by the weekend! =)
