Lactose intolerant

Is it possible to become lactose intolerant when you are pregnant? It seems like I only get sick after having milk products but I crave milk all the time. What should I do?

I will try the soy but like you said it isn't the same lol I am just really hoping it will pass because I love milk I always have. My kids and I can drink a gallon a day sometimes more. Thank you for your help

Yes....  People develop new allergies to things all the time.. maybe try some soy alternatives though they are not the same.. it could pass too...

In my first pregnancy, I puked everytime I had dairy... This pregnancy I vomit if i have too much dairy in one sitting.. for example if im having cereal then I cant drink a glass of milk as well.. I once had ceral and yogurt at the same time and ended up puking in a grocery store..

I would talk to your doctor more about it...

I used to be lactose intolerant when I was a kid so thats why I think it tends to be triggered by pregnancy...  Currently pretty much everytime I have dairy right now, I feel nauseated.... I dont always puke unless i over did it.. but i keep having it because i know the calcium is important for my baby and i like it hah
