Lord jesus its a FIRE! (Heartburn!!)

I'm 22w5d and the last few days I've had the worst heartburn ever so bad it keeps me up at night. Nothing works so far and my chest and throat are burning like hell. Any suggestions? I'm over it, I know it's probably only gunna get worse but something has got to give! Helpppp :(

Eating lettuce helped me as weird as that sounds. I munched on lettuce like I was a big ol bunny rabbit.  Make sure you're not laying down for at least an hour after you eat. Sleeping at an incline might help too - get your head and shoulders boosted up. Lots of water.

I have really bad heart burn. tums made it worse); I would suggest tums or milk. if those dont work, I know this sounds nasty,  but a little baking soda and water makes it go away right away.  just enough baking soda to cover the bottom of the cup and about an inch of water.  stir well and take a couple sips. good luck!

I have the same problem have to tried prilosec or zantac both you can buy over the counter and are the only thing that helps me the are acid reducers so it should take away all your symptoms and they are both safe to take.

Tums worked for me til I hit the third tri, mylanta saved me. I can only describe my heartburn as lava bubbling up at the same time someone's got a fire poker down my throat. Worst part of being pregnant for me,

Ahh your title cracked me up! Sorry I don't know anything about heartburn,  I have heard the rumor of a head full of hair with heartburn! I didn't have any with my first pregnancy and my son doesn't have as much hair as I'd hoped. How many weeks are you?
