Metronidazole vaginal cream?

Went in for my normal check up and doc told me I have a bacterial Infection,  She Prescribed me "Metronidazole". I was reading up on it and it says not to be used during pregnancy! Kind of worries me, any of u ladies ever had this stuff prescribed to u? And how did things turn out

It's important to treat the bacteria, if not things can get ugly. We're more prone to infections when we're pregnant. I haven't had to use that while pregnant, but I'd assume the benefit outweighs the risk if your doctor suggested it. :)

Flagyl is a category B so its relatively safe to use during pregnancy, there have been no proven risks
