Minor Stab during Pregnancy

So this is a weird question. I have a friend who's 11 months pregnant same as I am. She had a shift at work today where she and a friend were playing around all day. At one point she was looking for a cork screw, she’s a bartender, and couldn’t find one. He was passing her one when he accidently stabbed right next to her pelvic bone. Closer to the tummy. They thought it was fine and patched her up but when she got home it wouldn’t stop bleeding. So she went to the hospital. I haven’t heard from her and I’m extremely worried. Could a stab like that affect the baby? Would it have hit her womb? Will she have to get stitches? Will they be able to put her on pain killers? I'm just trying to understand what she’s going through right now

it depends how deep as pj said and it depends exactly where she was stabbed too. hope she's ok.

I think it depends on how deeply she was stabbed. Guess you just have to wait until she comes back. I understand your worry. Let me know how everything goes. Good luck.
