I had the mirena removed in 2008. I haven't had a period since. I have taken pregnancy test and they have all been negative. It has been almost 5 yrs. (July18). I have had normal periods until then

I had it for a little over a year and conceived on it but lost the baby 3 days after it was removed and the was pregnant 3 months later (even though we weren't trying, guess we were meant to have a third baby)

Hi, I was told fertility resumes as soon as the more a is removed and I started trying right away. Took me 6 months to fall pregnant, can take some women up to a year or it can happen right away. I am 33 weeks now with my 4th baby. Good luck to you, don't get disheartened if it doesn't happen right away.
